As part of the latest trend of freeing visa requirements in Eastern European and Central Asian nations, Kyrgyzstan is permitting travelers to enter
without a visa, effective July 24, 2012. This is applicable if you are a United States citizen (other Nationalities please contact us for more information info@passportvisasexpress.com ) and you may stay up to 60 days, whether for business or pleasure.
Tajikistan and Kazakhstan may soon be joining Kyrgyzstan as well: In May 2012, the Tajik parliament has passed a bill to make Tajikistan visa free, but the country’s president and senate have yet to approve it. Until then, a visa is required, so please check back with us for an update. If you are traveling immediately, we have services

It is also reported the Kazakh government is considering an experiment, for a window of several months, to permit visa-free travel for a 15-day visit with multiple entries. However, this has not yet been enacted, so a visa is still necessary to visit Kazakhstan. Again, please check back with us for an update. Dear friends,
We are glad to inform you that from today Kyrgyzstan is a visa-free country. The law "On introduction of visa-free regime for citizens of some countries for the period up to 60 days" was signed by the President of Kyrgyz Republic Almazbek Atambaev on July 24, 2012. Today the law on the visa-free regime" was officially published in the newspaper "Erkin Too" and came into force. According to the law citizens of 44 countries are free to travel to Kyrgyzstan for the period up to 60 days.

Commonwealth of Australia, Republic of Austria, Kingdom of Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Vatican, The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Hungary, Federal Republic of Germany, Kingdom of the Netherlands, The Hellenic Republic, Kingdom of Denmark, Iceland, Kingdom of Ireland, Kingdom of Spain, The Italian Republic, Canada, Republic of Korea, The State of Kuwait, The Republic of Latvia, The Republic of Lithuania, The Principality of Liechtenstein, Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Republic of Malta, The Principality of Monaco, New Zealand, Kingdom of Norway, United Arab Emirates, The Republic of Poland, Portuguese Republic, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, The Republic of Singapore, The Slovak Republic, The Republic of Slovenia, United States of America, Republic of Finland, The French Republic, The Republic of Croatia, The Czech Republic, The Swiss Confederation, Kingdom of Sweden, The Republic of Estonia, The State of Qatar, State of Brunei Darussalam, Kingdom Bahrain.
The Government intends to increase the list of countries whose citizens will be allowed travel to Kyrgyzstan without visa.
Let us remind you that these 44 countries are added to the list of 16 countries citizens of which didn’t need visa to Kyrgyzstan:
Malaysia, Turkey, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, Japan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russian Federation, Tajikistan, Vietnam, Cuba, KNDR.
Visa Fees
As of July 27, 2009 Consular Section of the Kyrgyz Embassy introduces new consular and visa fees.
- Single-entry 1 month visa – 100 USD
- Double-entry 1 month visa – 115 USD

Business, Private (to visit relatives), Study and Employment Visas:
- Single-entry 1 month visa – 110 USD
- Double-entry 1 month visa – 120 USD
- Single-entry 3 months visa – 120 USD (special invitation letter obtained from the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic in Bishkek required)
- Multi-entry 3 months visa – 140 USD (special invitation letter obtained from the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic in Bishkek required)
- Multi-entry 6 months visa – 180 USD (special invitation letter obtained from the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic in Bishkek required)
- Multi-entry 1 year – 240 USD (special invitation letter obtained from the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic in Bishkek required)
- Single-entry transit visa – 85 USD
- Double-entry transit visa – 95 USD
