The visa application is found on the Russian Government website. The site does experience time outs and errors from time to time. Please be patient when completing the online visa application.
IMPORTANT:

If you have been previously employed (aside from your current employment), you MUST enter this information on your Visa Application. The field cannot be left blank if you have been previously employed.

If you have not been employed or previously employed (homemaker) you must provide a signed letter of explanation addressed to the attention of the Russian Embassy.

When answering the visa application question "Visa Issuing Office" you must choose "VFS Washington" from the menu.

You may apply for a Russian visa if your initial date of entry is within the next 90 days.
Passport Photograph:
You must provide one (1) passport photograph that meets Passport Photograph Regulations regarding quality.
Please Note:

Your photograph must be full face, front view with a plain white or off-white background printed on photo quality paper.

Photo must be the same size as the box on the visa application.

Please do not glue or staple your photo to the Russian visa application. Please send it loose with your documents and we will attach it for you.
